Anticreeping system - the general information

Information given below belongs only to anticreeping systems, the Citroyon brand cars which are included in the company package.

General information

The anticreeping system is included in a basic equipment of some models from the considered row. The alarm system joins and switched off automatically when using of the remote control (DU) of the uniform lock. At activation of system on the dashboard the red control lamp begins to blink continuously. Besides the alarm system is a part of the system also an engine immobilizator.

In addition on some models the electronic immobilizator with the code control panel which is built in in the central console is established.

Anticreeping alarm system

It is necessary to notice that when locking and unlocking doors of salon manually automatic inclusion / switching off of anticreeping system does not happen. In case of refusal remote control of the uniform lock shutdown of the alarm system can be made by means of a key: open a door a key and enter in interior of the car (when opening a door the alarm system will work), then include ignition, holding the pressed button of anticreeping system located from the driver's party of the dashboard. This procedure has to be done not later than in 10 seconds after opening of a door of the car.

Sensors of the anticreeping alarm system equipped all doors of the car (including a back door) and a car cowl. Besides, the salon is equipped with the ultrasonic watching device which two sensors installed on both sides of the car react to any movement in salon. At desire the watching device can be switched-off in an individual order: at the switched-off ignition squeeze out the button of anticreeping system from the driver's party of the dashboard and hold it pressed until the control lamp lights up continuous light. Now, when locking the car from the DU panel of the uniform lock only the system contour controlling doors and a cowl will join (the control lamp at activation of system comes back to the blinking mode). Such possibility of individual shutdown of a contour of tracking allows to leave the car under the alarm system during short parkings with open windows / the top hatch, or with the children/animals left in salon.

Full deactivation of anticreeping system is made by means of the main switch installed in the left corner of a motive compartment under a screen wiper drive cover. The switch is equipped with the lock under a special key and from above is covered with a plastic cover.

At any refusals of anticreeping system the car should be driven away for diagnostics and repair on car repair shop.

Electronic system of an immobilization of the engine with the code control panel

Try not to forget a security code of an immobilizator as it involves need of replacement of ECU of a control system of the engine.

The system allows to disconnect a control system of the engine, preventing a possibility of start of the last without input of a special code on the control panel of an immobilizator installed on the central console of the car.
The code can be chosen and change at the request of the owner of the vehicle according to the instructions provided in the user's guide.

About shutdown of an immobilizator and possibility of performing start of the engine the green control lamp on the system control panel in the central console signals. If on the panel the red lamp burns, therefore, the control system of the engine is disconnected, and start is not possible: any attempts of his work will be followed by operation of the anticreeping alarm system.

For shutdown of an immobilizator it is necessary to gather the corresponding security code on the system control panel. The entered code is validated by the quadruple blinking of a green lamp which is followed by four short signals of a buzzer. The red lamp on the panel has to be disconnected.

At introduction of the wrong code the red lamp will remain included, and start of the engine - impossible.

Shutdown of the battery

At a battery detachment on the cars equipped with anticreeping system it is necessary to observe some special precautionary measures.

Before switching-off the battery it is necessary to deactivate a siren of the anticreeping alarm system by means of a special key.

Remember that at connection of the battery the anticreeping alarm system is activated automatically and has to be switched-off from the DU panel of the uniform lock then it is possible to activate a siren a special key.
