Replacement of an epiploon(s) of the camshaft

If you are going to make replacement of an epiploon of the camshaft without removal of a gas-distributing belt, before check the last for existence of traces of pollution of oil (the greasy belt is subject to replacement without fail). Now take care of that that in the course of replacement of an epiploon oil did not get on a belt - wrap up the last rags. If the belt is taken off, then before its installation carefully wipe all components of the GRM drive and adjacent surfaces of a block/head, having completely cleared them of oil traces.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a camshaft cogwheel (see Removal, check of a state and installation of a natyazhitel and cogwheels of a gas-distributing belt).
2. Puncture or drill in a face surface of an epiploon couple of small openings the friend opposite to the friend. Screw self-tapping screws in openings and, having grasped heads of the last with nippers, take an epiploon from the nest.
3. Wipe a casing of an epiploon and remove teases and the agnails capable to lead to failure of a new epiploon.
4. Oil sponges of a new epiploon pure motive and put an epiploon in the nest against the stop in a special coat hanger. As a mandrel for landing of an epiploon it is possible to use a replaceable face head of the corresponding size or a piece of a pipe of suitable diameter. The mandrel has to rest only against the firm outer edge of an epiploon. Try not to allow damages of sponges.

The epiploon is established by sponges inside.

5. Establish into place a camshaft cogwheel (see Removal, check of a state and installation of a natyazhitel and cogwheels of a gas-distributing belt).
