Removal and installation of the lower spherical support of a forward suspension bracket

The reversing and tightening of a spherical support will require the special Citroyon No. 7103-7 tool and a shock key like "Facom Dynapact"). In the absence of near at hand the required tools performance of this work should be charged to specialists of car service. Do not make attempts of removal of a spherical support by means of make-shifts at all! Also new nut of a spherical finger will be required.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Dump pressure in hydraulic system (see the Head Uniform hydraulic system). 2. Prop up antiretractable boots back wheels, then a front of the car and establish to a poddomkratta it on props. Remove the corresponding forward wheel. 3. Weaken and partially turn off a nut of a finger of the lower spherical support (turn off a nut until the end of a carving fingers for the purpose of protection of rounds of the last at release of the hinge). Release a sharovy finger from stupichny assembly by means of a divider of spherical support, then finally remove a nut.
4. By means of a suitable drift bring down the dustproof screen of a spherical support.
5. Enter the special tool 7103-7 into gearing with cuts on assembly of a spherical support and record it by tightening of a lock-nut on a carving part of a spherical finger. Connect a shock key to the tool and turn out assembly of a spherical support.

Installation

Installation is made upside-down. Pay attention to the next moments:
   a) Before finally tightening with the required effort a support by means of the special tool, screw it as it is possible stronger by hand;
   b) Try not to damage a rubber protective cover of a support at installation of components;
   c) Do not forget to fuller the dustproof screen of a spherical support in cuts in the lower part of stupichny assembly;
   d) After lowering of the car on the earth tighten spuskny the gate of the regulator of pressure and transfer a control lever a suspension bracket to situation "Maximum".
