The sensor switch of permission of starts/fires of a backing - the general information, removal and installation

General information

The sensor switch is screwed from above in a crater of transmission and performs double function, first, providing a possibility of start of the engine only in two provisions of AT (Р and N) and, secondly, operating inclusion of fires of a backing at the choice of the reverse gear. The first function of the sensor switch does not allow to make casual start of the engine at the transmission put on transfer. The sensor switch carries out this task by shutdown of giving of food on the traction relay of a starter. Short circuit of the sensor switch happens only in two provisions of transmission: Р or N. Any other situation to be to testify to a sensor switch exit out of operation. At inclusion of a reverse the sensor switch carries out short circuit of a chain of signal lights of a backing, providing their inclusion. In case of refusal any of functions the sensor switch is subject to replacement assembled.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For the purpose of ensuring access to the sensor switch remove the battery with the pallet and a basic plate (see the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine).
2. Walk on an electrical wiring from the sensor switch to the contact socket back. Disunite the socket.
3. Turn out the sensor switch and take it from a transmission case, having removed together with a sealing ring.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install a new sealing ring on the sensor switch and screw assembly in the carving opening from above on a transmission case. Strongly tighten the sensor switch.
2. Restore initial connection of an electrical wiring. Establish into place a basic plate and the pallet of the battery. Strongly tighten fixture.
3. Establish and connect the rechargeable battery (see the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine) and check serviceability of functioning of the sensor switch.
