Removal, installation and adjustment of the thermosensitive RPM meter of bystry idling
Removal
At assembly the new sealing washer will be required. |
The sensor is located in a wall of a casing of thermostat/assembly of the fuel filter.
1. For the purpose of ensuring access, remove an air distributor casing. In case of need remove also inlet air duct and disconnect a ventilating hose from a jellied mouth of motive oil. More detailed than cm appropriate sections of the present Chapter. 2. Empty the cooling system (address the Head Routine maintenance). |
3. Weaken tightening a screw/nut and disconnect a tip of a driving cable of bystry idling from the cable core on the lever of bystry idling of TNVD. |
4. Extend a cable from the adjusting screw located on TNVD arm. |
5. By means of a suitable rozhkovy key turn out the thermosensitive sensor from a casing of thermostat/assembly of the fuel filter. Remove the sensor together with a cable. At the corresponding complete set remove a sealing washer. |
Installation
1. If the sensor was installed on sealant, carefully remove all traces of the last from assembly. Track that sealant did not remain hammered into internal cooling channels of a casing. 2. Install the sensor on the regular place, having used fresh sealant, or having replaced a sealing washer. 3. Fill the adjusting screw in an arm on TNVD and by hand screw a lock-nut. 4. Fill the cable core in the lever of bystry idling, put on a tip a cable (do not tighten still tightening a screw/nut). 5. Make adjustment of a cable (see below). |
Adjustment
1. At the cold engine wring out the lever of bystry idling towards a flywheel arrangement. Having pressed a cable tip to the lever, tighten a tightening nut / screw. 2. Adjust the screw so that the lever nestled on an emphasis, then tighten a lock-nut. 3. Measure length of the open site of the core of a cable. 4. Where it is required, establish into place a casing of the air distributor and connect a ventilating branch pipe to a jellied mouth of motive oil. 5. Fill the cooling system (address the Head Routine maintenance), then start the engine and warm up it up to the normal working temperature. 6. Make sure available a weak point of a driving cable of bystry idling. Lack of a weak point with big degree of probability testifies to malfunction of the thermosensitive sensor. 7. At the hot engine and the serviceable sensor the cable has to have a free wheeling about 6 mm. 8. Make sure that turns of the engine raise at push-up of the lever of bystry idling towards a flywheel. At the lever pressed to an emphasis turns of bystry idling have to correspond requirements of Specifications. More detailed information on exact check of turns of the engine is provided in the Head Routine maintenance. 9. Kill the engine. |
