Dropping pressure in a power supply system

Before getting to work, attentively study the preventions stated in the section Power supply system - petrol models. Remember that implementation of this procedure allows to dump only partially pressure in a fuel path of a power supply system, residual pressure continues to be present at lines - be careful when undocking nipple knots.

The gasoline pump established in the fuel tank, the fuel filter, injection injectors, the fuel highway with the regulator of pressure of fuel and the metal tubes and flexible hoses connecting components are among the components of a power supply system considered in the present section. In all listed components at the working engine and/or the included ignition there is a fuel which is under pressure. After switching off of ignition fuel continues to remain under pressure during even some time. This pressure before performance of any repair or scheduled maintenance connected by undocking of a path has to be dumped safely.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Get drain capacity under the nipple connection which is subject to undocking. Prepare rags for collecting the fuel spilled by capacity.
3. Slowly weaken the nipple socket / a cap nut of connection, then wrap up knot rags after residual pressure in a path is dumped, finally to a rasstykuyta knot and disconnect the fuel line. At once to a zakuporta the open ends of the tube/union for the purpose of minimization of losses of fuel and in order to avoid hit in a dirt power supply system.
