1. In a motive compartment disconnect the gas cable core from the throttle case, extend a cable from the rubber plug of an arm through passage and remove a spring clamp (see the illustrations Knot of Fastening of a Cable of Gas to the throttle case (to model from RKPP) and Knot of fastening of a cable of gas to the throttle case (to model with AT)).
2. Moving back lengthways on a cable, release it from intermediate guides of clamps and bindings. Try to remember a route of laying of a cable.
3. Release clamps and remove section of the lower felt finishing under the dashboard from the driver's party of the car.
4. In interior of the car release a clamp of a cover of the assembly block of safety locks, having turned it on a quarter of a turn counterclockwise. Uncover the assembly block the dashboard.
5. Release a clip and disconnect the cable core from the top part of the accelerator pedal.
6. Release a cable cover from the holder on a pedal arm. Tie up a string piece by the end of a cable.
7. Return to a motive compartment and release the rubber plug of a cable through passage from a back partition. Then, having pulled a cable on itself, involve it in a motive compartment. Untie a string from a tip and leave it passed through a partition.
8. Attentively examine a cable, checking it for existence of signs of wear or mechanical damages. Also check a condition of the rubber plug through passage. Replace defective components.

1. Tie up a cable to a string and involve it through a partition in interior of the car. Untie a string from a tip and latch a cable cover in the holder of an arm. Connect the core to the end of a pedal.
2. Check reliability of fastening of a cable and landing in a partition of the rubber plug through passage. Install into place the felt panel of finishing of the dashboard and a cover of the assembly block of safety locks.
3. Having returned to a motive compartment, make sure of correctness of landing of a cover of a cable in the plug through passage, then, moving along a cable and watching correctness of a route of laying, fix it in all intermediate clamps and bindings.
4. Put on a flat washer a tip of a cable and establish a spring clamp.
5. Pass a cable cover throughout the plug of an arm through passage on the throttle case. Connect the core of a cable to a cam of the drive of a butterfly valve. Make adjustment of a cable (see below).

1. In a motive compartment remove a spring clamp from a gas cable cover. Make sure that the cam of the drive of the gate is pressed to an emphasis. Smoothly pull a cable from the plug through passage, having completely chosen a core weak point.
2. Having recorded a cable in this situation, establish a spring clamp in the last from open flutes in front of the rubber plug through passage. After installation of a clip and an otpuskaniye of a cover, the weak point of the core of a cable has to be very insignificant.
3. Ask the assistant to squeeze out the accelerator pedal and make sure that the cam of the drive passes into the extreme situation corresponding to full opening of the gate. At a pedal otpuskaniye the cam has to come back smoothly to a starting position, nestling on an emphasis.
4. On models with AT, having finished with a gas cable, check adjustment of a driving cable of inclusion of the kick-down mode (see. Automatic transmission).
