Assembly of a head of cylinders

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Grease cores of valves and establish the last on the former places in a head of cylinders. In case of installation of new valves install them according to a grinding in order, - each valve gets used to a concrete saddle in a head.

2. Install the lower plate (saddle) of a spring on the first of valves. Dip a new maslootrazhatelny cap in pure motive oil and accurately put him on the directing plug. Try not to damage a cap in the course of threading of a valve core in it. For landing of a cap on the plug use the face head suitable by the size or a piece of a pipe of the corresponding diameter.

3. Put a spring on the saddle, then install the top plate.
4. The special tool squeeze a spring, having lowered its top plate on sufficient height, then fill in a flute on a valve core crackers of the cutting lock. Temporary fixing of crackers to an otpuskaniye of the tool is made by means of couple of dabs of dense lubricant.
5. Working in a similar manner, install the remained valves in a head, then establish a head horizontally on a workbench and the hammer through wooden whetstone tap end faces of cores of each of valves for the purpose of shrinkage of components.
6. Working according to the instructions stated in sections the Repair procedures which are not demanding extraction of the engine from the car - the petrol engines or Repair procedures which are not demanding extraction of the engine from the car - diesel engines, install in a head the camshaft and pushers of valves with adjusting washers.
