1. Before starting removal of an arm, it is necessary to hang out the power unit, it is preferable by means of the winch (a rigging it is necessary to fix to the eye located in the right part of the engine). Alternatively, the engine can be propped up from below a cart jack (between a head of a jack and the pallet of a case for distribution of loading it is necessary to lay wooden whetstone). Anyway it is necessary to prepare that at removal of an arm the engine will bend back.
2. Release clamps and take aside all hoses and electric wires preventing removal of an arm (it is necessary to exempt from similar elements both assembly of a support of the power unit, and the top support of a suspension bracket).

3. Turn out two fixing bolts and remove the curved fixing plate established in the top part of a support.

4. For the purpose of ensuring access to a nut of fastening of an arm take the rubber buffer from assembly of a support.

5. Give three nuts of fastening of an arm to a support and one nut of its fastening to a body element. Remove an arm.

1. Remove an arm of fastening of a support to a body (see above), then take off a belt of the drive of auxiliary units.
2. If did not do it yet, prop up the power unit a cart jack. For distribution of loading lay wooden whetstone between the pallet of a case and a head of a jack.
3. If used the winch for posting of the engine, disconnect a lifting rigging from the right eye of the engine - the last fastens to an arm of a support of the power unit.
4. Turn out two fixing bolts and remove an arm of a support of the power unit.
5. Achieve combination of blocking openings (see Fixing cranked / distributive shaft and TNVD for the purpose of prevention of casual hit of valves in contact with pistons in the course of performing procedures of service of the car) and record cogwheels of the camshaft and TNVD, and also a flywheel. Do not allow a provorachivaniye of the blocked engine at all.
6. Release an axial nut and an adjusting bolt of a natyazhitel and develop a support of the last counterclockwise so that the adjusting bolt appeared in the middle of the directing groove. Tighten a bolt, having recorded a natyazhitel in new situation. In case of need use for deployment of a natyazhitel the 10-millimeter drive to a face key which is entered into a special square opening in an arm.
7. Mark with an arrow the initial direction of rotation of a gas-distributing belt and throw off the last from the cogwheels.
8. Now it is necessary to prepare the device for fixing of a plunger of a natyazhitel in an arm of a support of the power unit.

9. The Citroyon company the special branded tool entered into two lower bolted openings in a support arm is issued. Equivalent replacement to such lock can be made of appropriately bent metal plate and couple of 10-millimeter bolts with nuts.

10. Turn out two lower bolts of fastening of an arm of a support and install in the released openings the branded or self-made lock (see also illustration the Forward end face of the power unit) which internal surface should be greased with dense lubricant in order to avoid damage of a plunger. Give an axial nut and an adjusting bolt and remove assembly of a natyazhitel.

11. Turn out two remained bolts of fastening of an arm of a support and remove the last from the unit.
12. Drown a plunger in a support arm, then remove the lock and take a plunger and a spring.
