Removal, check of a state and installation of the camshaft and pushers of valves

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Uncover a head of cylinders (see Removal and installation of a cover of a head of cylinders).
2. Remove a camshaft cogwheel (see Removal and installation of cogwheels of a belt of the GRM drive).

3. Covers of bearings have to be consistently numbered, in the direction from a flywheel. In the absence of factory identification tags put them independently by means of a marker. Put also a tag on a pipeline wall.

4. In stages evenly weaken nuts of fastening of covers and remove the last from a head of cylinders.
5. Accurately take the camshaft from a head of cylinders and remove from its lobby (from a gas-distributing belt) pins an epiploon. At assembly the epiploon is subject to replacement without fail.
6. Prepare eight numbered plastic bags, then by means of a rubber sucker serially take pushers of valves from a head, at once stacking them in appropriately numbered packages. At assembly pushers have to be established strictly on the former places. Not observance of this requirement leads to essential reduction of service life of components of the valvate mechanism. In case of need remove adjusting washers from end faces of cores of valves and put them in packages of the corresponding pushers. Remember that washers often podlipat to pushers, - try not to drop them in the course of extraction of the last.

Check of a state

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check a condition of bearing necks and working surfaces of cams of the camshaft. In case of identification of signs of wear, furrows or deep scratches, replace a shaft. Check also a condition of bearing surfaces in beds of covers and heads of cylinders. In case of detection of serious defects the head should be replaced also.
2. Check the working surfaces of pushers contacting to cams for existence of scratches and signs of excessive wear. Replace defective pushers. In case of identification of serious damages check also a condition of working ledges of the corresponding cams of the camshaft. In case of need make replacement of defective components.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. At the corresponding complete set establish adjusting washers of pushers on end faces of cores of the valves. In order to avoid violation of installation of valvate gaps (see Check and adjustment of valvate gaps) washers have to be established strictly on the former places.
2. Properly grease pushers and their landing nests in a head of cylinders. Accurately fill pushers in the former nests. Track perpendicularity of landing of pushers in a head.
3. Grease necks and cams of the camshaft with pure motive oil.
4. Temporarily put a cogwheel on a forward pin of a shaft and achieve combination of drilling in it with a reciprocal opening in a head body (see Fixing cranked / distributive shaft and TNVD for the purpose of prevention of casual hit of valves in contact with pistons in the course of performing procedures of service of the car) - cams of the drive of valves of the fourth cylinder have to are developed by working ledges up. Remove a wheel and accurately bring the camshaft to a head of cylinders (you watch that cams of the 4th cylinder remained the developed rises up). Make sure available on the place of the core blocking a bent shaft (see Fixing cranked / distributive shaft and TNVD for the purpose of prevention of casual hit of valves in contact with pistons in the course of performing procedures of service of the car).
5. Watching correctness of an arrangement of marking, establish a cover of the central bearing, screw fixing nuts and tighten them on two-three turns.

6. Grease with sealant the surfaces of covers of trailer bearings noted on an accompanying illustration, then establish them on the regular places according to identification and landing marking. On two-three turns tighten fixing nuts.

7. In stages evenly tighten nuts of fastening of covers with the required effort.

8. Measure by the probe of lezviyny type the size of an axial side play of the camshaft and compare result of measurement to requirements of Specifications. If the size of a side play exceeds the limit of admissible range, it is necessary to make replacement of the camshaft and/or a head of cylinders. To measure the size of a side play push a shaft in any of the parties against the stop and the probe measure the size of the gap formed between persistent surfaces and covers of the central bearing and the next to it a cam.

9. If replacement of the camshaft was not made, and violation of installation of valvate gaps did not take place, you pass to implementation of the procedure described in the following paragraph. Otherwise, make adjustment of gaps (see Check and adjustment of valvate gaps). Pay attention that as the gas-distributing belt an obligatory order former remains removed, the bent shaft should be developed surely on a quarter of a turn in any of the parties for its conclusion from the provision of VMT for the purpose of prevention of contact of valves with pistons at a camshaft provorachivaniye. Take the core blocking a flywheel (see Fixing cranked / distributive shaft and TNVD for the purpose of prevention of casual hit of valves in contact with pistons in the course of performing procedures of service of the car) and throw off a gas-distributing belt from TNVD cogwheel in order to avoid a provorachivaniye of the last at rotation of a bent shaft.
10. Oil sponges of a new epiploon pure motive and put him on a forward pin of the camshaft (sponges inside). Put an epiploon aflush with a bearing cover surface.
11. If the bent shaft was developed on a quarter of a turn (see item 9), return it to the provision of VMT of pistons 1 and 4 of cylinders. Do not turn a shaft more at all than on 1/4 turns as in this case pistons of the 2nd and 3rd cylinders will fall into a state of VMT and there will be a blow of valves about the bottoms of pistons.
12. Return into place the core blocking a flywheel.
13. Establish a camshaft cogwheel (see Removal and installation of cogwheels of a belt of the GRM drive).
14. Establish a cover of a head of cylinders (see Removal and installation of a cover of a head of cylinders).
