Removal, check and installation of the coil of ignition

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery. Assembly of VV of the coil of ignition (DIS module) is located at the left on a head of cylinders.

2. Release a clamp and disunite the electric socket of the coil.

3. Mark and disconnect from wire VV coil plugs.
4. Turn out four fixing screws and remove VV the coil from the basic arm. Take the removed module from a motive compartment.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For check of conductivity primary (NV + plugs - "-") and secondary (plugs "+ NV - VV) windings of the coil transfer the universal measuring instrument of chains to the ohmmeter mode. Remember that two sets of windings are the share of four conclusions of VV of the coil of static type. Compare results to requirements of Specifications. It should be noted that the resistive resistance of windings somewhat depends on assembly temperature. The values given in Specifications are fair for coil temperature + 20 °C.
2. Make sure of lack of conductivity between VV the plug and the case of the module / a basic arm.
3. In case of identification of signs of violations before replacing assembly consult at specialists of car repair shop.

Installation

Installation is made upside-down. Track for correctness of connection and reliability of fastening of an electrical wiring, including wire VV.
