1. If the power unit is not removed from the car for the purpose of performance of capital repairs (see the Head Remont of the engine), access to the mechanism of switching off of coupling can be provided by removal only of the transmission (see. Manual box of gear shifting).
2. On models with coupling of usual (release) type release the release bearing from a fork of switching off and remove it from a pin of main shaft RKPP. Beat out a cylindrical finger and remove the lever of switching off of coupling from the top part of an axis of a fork. The finger at assembly is subject to replacement without fail.
3. On couplings of both types wring out fixing uvulas and remove the top plug from the end of an axis of a fork of switching off. Take out an axis from the lower plug and take it from transmission. Wring out lock uvulas and take the lower axial plug from a transmission case.

1. Estimate degree of wear of all components of the mechanism of switching off of coupling. Replace defective parts. Special attention should be paid to a condition of bearing, persistent and contact surfaces.
2. When checking a condition of the release bearing it is necessary to remember that the rule of good form is replacement of this major component without fail. Check smoothness of contact surfaces of the bearing, estimate freedom of its rotation. in the presence of the slightest doubts replace the bearing (on models with coupling of exhaust type assembled with a basket - see Removal, check of a state and installation of assembly of coupling).

1. Grease axial plugs and contact surfaces of a fork of switching off of coupling with lubricant on the basis of a molybdenum disulfide.

2. Fill the lower axial plug in RKPP case, having tracked reliability of fixing it lock uvulas.

3. Establish a switching off fork.

4. Put on the top plug a fork axis, having latched it on the seat in a transmission case.

5. On models with coupling of usual (release) type dress the switching off lever on a fork axis. Level the lever concerning an opening in an axis and record it a new cylindrical finger. Put the release bearing on a pin of a main shaft and enter it into gearing with a switching off fork.
6. Establish into place assembly of the transmission (see. Manual box of gear shifting).
