Replacement of the AT transmission liquid

THROUGH EACH 45 000 KM (27 000 MILES) OF THE RUN

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make a short trip during which transmission has to be heated-up up to the normal working temperature on the car.
2. Park the car on the flat horizontal platform, whenever possible with a hard coating. Switch off ignition and cock the parking brake. For the purpose of ensuring access prop up antiretractable boots back wheels, then a front of the car and establish to a poddomkratta it on props. For check and adjustment of the ATF level the car has to be again transferred to horizontal position.

3. Take the measuring probe and get the drain capacity suitable on volume under transmission. The case of transmission is equipped with two drain stoppers: one is screwed in the pallet, the second - in the lower part of a case of differential.

Remember that the merged liquid is warmed up to very essential temperature - take precautionary measures against a scalding!

4. Turn out both drain stoppers and lower all contents of a case of transmission in drain capacity. Wipe drain traffic jams, with special care having removed metal sawdust from a magnetic insert. Without fail replace sealing washers.
5. After the liquid effluence from transmission stops, smooth out a carving of drain traffic jams and openings in a case. Screw and strongly tighten drain traffic jams, previously without having forgotten to supply them with new sealing washers. Return the car to horizontal position.
6. Gas station in transmission of fresh ATF is made in the small portions through the directing tube of the measuring probe. Use the funnel equipped with a close-meshed grid. You watch that in a case of AT no foreign objects got. Before adding the next portion of liquid wait some time sufficient for distribution by already filled in ATF in cavities between internal components of a box. Every time check liquid level
7. After the ATF level reaches point MOVE in a probe edge, establish the last on the regular place. Start the engine and let's it work on single turns within several minutes. Again kill the engine and repeat check of the ATF level, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment. Make on the car a short trip for the purpose of final distribution of liquid on internal cavities of the transmission. Repeat check.
